Commuter rail service from Fort Worth to Cleburne is 20 to 30 years away, but community leaders and government officials are already planning for the inevitable growth and development.
Officials from Burleson, the North Central Texas Council of Governments and the Fort Worth Transportation Authority are moving forward with plans for a proposed transit station west of downtown Burleson, at the future intersection of Alsbury Boulevard and Hulen Street, west of Texas 174.
